The subject of the interview: Integrity: The Core of Relationships.  Even thought it’s long, give it a listen, and post any comments you have below.  Would love to know what you think about the topic.

  1. This view of integrity (in communications) is really fascinating. While it’s pretty obvious why it’s harmful to tell lies in a relationship, I’ve always suspected that avoiding conflict in all the various ways in a relationship is bad for the bond, but this really gets into the mechanics of why.
It also reminds us that we should not lie to ourselves.
Right on point about how we don’t do enough investigating in this area in the early stages of a relationship, and often make commitments that don’t make a lot of sense.
I’m going to listen to it again on my walk today.
    Thanks – very thought provoking.

  2. Thanks, Cindy, I appreciate your thoughtfulness about the subject. All of this flies in the face of the old saying…”what you don’t know won’t hurt you…”
